KITCHEN AT THE POLEY CREEK PROJECT
SERVICE: KITCHEN RENOVATION
YEAR: 2026
Some rooms ask for restraint. This one asked for warmth.
The kitchen had gone untouched for decades: a closed-in galley with a peninsula set at an odd angle that pinched the only path through the room. We squared it to a true 90 degrees and let the space breathe. In its place: taller wood cabinetry in a rich, traditional finish, a counter stone with a soft ogee edge, and a backsplash tile chosen to echo the same warmth. Every material was selected to feel less like a renovation and more like it had always belonged.
Nothing structural moved. Everything that mattered did.
